Hello,
I bought two second-hand full grain yellow leather sofas, which I have, with your products, completely stripped and re-dyed in black. The colour has held up well but today I would like to change the colour to grey or duck blue. Do you think this is possible? Will a good stripping remove all the black color?
Thank you for your answer
Laureen
Thank you for your prompt return.
They are two large 3-seater sofas (2 seats and 2 backs on each sofa), armrests and an all-leather structure.
I would like a quote for each shade: if I take the grey or duck blue option...
I already have the strippers, cleaners and silky varnish.
Will I have to remove the black completely before I want to cover it? or is a layer of acetone enough?
Thank you. Thank you.
Laureen
Don't overtraumatize your leather with the stripper! It is not a question of discoloring your leather but just of degreasing it and cleaning it! Apply 2 layers of acetones and 3 layers on the areas likely to contain traces of sebum (armrests and neck areas).
We prepare your 2 quotes!
